PROFESSIONAL EXPERIENCE

Since his admission to the bar in 1991, Adam has been a constant advocate for the legal creditor rights industry at both the state and federal levels. After initially founding a creditor bar association in Connecticut in 1994, Attorney Olshan went on to serve as the president of National Association of Retail Collection Attorneys (NARCA) from 2001-2003. Adam was a presenter at the Federal Trade Commission Legal Debt Collection Roundtable Workshops in 2007 and 2009 and he received the NARCA President’s Award in 2010. Attorney Olshan was appointed to Court Rule Working Groups by Chief Judges in Massachusetts and Connecticut in 2006 and 2008 respectively. Adam was Collection Advisor’s Legal Collection column author from 2003 – 2011 and he was a panel moderator for NARCA’s Symposium on Legal Debt Collection in Washington, D.C. in 2013. Attorney Olshan remains very active with NARCA as well as the Connecticut Creditor Bar Association to ensure that the interests of creditor clients are fully considered by judicial, regulatory and legislative decision-makers.
